As I've navigated
my own grief, I've come to realize that many of us don't know how to be there for each other through our grieving. Not only as adults, but for our kids: how do we help teens and children through this difficult time?
My work with countless children in schools and in private practice has taught me so much about our similarities and differences when it comes to grieving. While each person's story is different, and each individual grieves in their own way, there's something about navigating alongside someone who understands that helps. We all can use some extra tools and another level of support during these difficult times. Therapy allows us to heal and grow. It helps give us hope.
